We carried out a thorough test to show you how much power you can get out of your PC when you use the Tuning Status feature in TuneUp. Goal: Total tuning in the shortest amount of time. Test object: a standard PC (sample data: 3 years old, with Core 2 Duo 2.66 Ghz and 4 gigabytes of RAM).
No sooner is TuneUp Utilities™ 2011 installed on our test computer than we're ready to start the check-up. We click on "Start analysis now" and the software immediately identifies our PC's weak areas. We fix them immediately with just a second click of the mouse! 1-Click Maintenance runs in the process and gets rid of two unnecessary startup programs. The letter "B" displayed in Tuning Status indicates that "Live Optimization is fully activated". But under "Unused potential", we see we have other work steps to perform.
Day #2: Tuning based on what you need!
On the next day, we complete our user profile as recommended. This lets TuneUp Utilities™ make targeted recommendations of what items are absolutely necessary for our computer and what items our computer doesn't really need.
